Ethical and Enduring Elements
We source materials that carry history. From timber that has grown slowly over centuries to metals forged from recycled origins, our material library is an archive of texture, density, and natural beauty.
The Timber Library
Fennland Bog Oak
Preserved in peat bogs for thousands of years, this semi-fossilized timber boasts a deep, naturally blackened hue and extraordinary density. No artificial stains are required.
European Ash
Valued for its pale, creamy color and striking grain patterns. Ash offers immense strength and flexibility, making it ideal for sculptural chairs and curved architectural elements.
Black Walnut
Sourced from sustainable plots, our walnut features rich, chocolate tones interlaced with lighter sapwood. It takes an oil finish beautifully, developing a lustrous patina over time.
Metals & Accents
Cast Bronze
Utilized for bespoke hardware, feet, and structural supports. We leave our bronze unlacquered, allowing it to oxidize and record the touch of its owners.
Blackened Steel
Hot-rolled steel treated with a chemical blackener and sealed with carnauba wax. It provides a stark, industrial contrast to the organic warmth of our timbers.
